Bridging the gap between Fantasy and Philosophy

Welcome to the beginning of Galen’s Journey!  Galen’s Journey is a webcomic presented entirely in textual form, because I can’t draw.   It follows a pattern similar to newspaper comics, in that there will be several short comics in a continuing plotline and occasional longer one-shot comics with primarily comedic content.

Galen’s Journey is a story about a group of heroes that travel to strange worlds in an attempt to solve problems.  Beyond that, the first story arc describes the setting far better than I can here.  Enjoy!

How to read: Each post represents a single comic.  After the title, there may be a brief note explaining the layout.  If none is mentioned, assume a 2×2 square of four equal panels.  Each panel begins with a description of the picture, followed by the text.  Each text paragraph represents a speech bubble.  Most text will be in quotations to identify it as speech, but you will also occasionally see brackets like this {} that indicate something other than text (like pictures) or brackets like this [] that indicate non-verbal communication like telepathy or narration.  At the end will be an italicized Notes section, which would be the Alt-text if this was an actual comic.
